Linda Ray Prater, age 76, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024. She was born in Pleasant View, Tennessee to the late Raymond and Mary Frances Beasley.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Prater; children, Jilin Nickens, Jamie Green and her husband Matt, and Jason Prater and his wife Mary Jo; grandchildren, Paige Nickens, Kennedy Biggs, Jimmy Prater, and Gabriel Green; great granddaughter, Baylee Ray; and father-in-law, Hubert Prater.

She enjoyed crafting, collecting, and spending time with her family. Linda never met a stranger and will be remembered by her kindness and generosity. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and Nana/Dolly.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Prater Cemetery in Woodbury, TN.
