Linda Ann Mason Vaughn, age 77 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away comfortably and peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 26, 2025. Born in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Annie Lou Arnette Mason.

Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years, James B. Vaughn, Jr.; son, Brian M. Vaughn and his wife Stacy of Jackson, TN; loving grandchildren, Emma and Mason Vaughn both of Jackson, TN.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with her son Brian Vaughn officiating and Mary Drennan delivering the eulogy. The visitation with the family will be on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the Celebration of Life.

Linda was a member of the Church of Christ. Teaching was her love, and she taught English at Riverdale High School for 40 years. She was a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School, class of 1965, and a graduate of MTSU with a master's degree plus. Linda's grandchildren, Emma and Mason were the love of her life. She also enjoyed gardening and her indoor plants. Linda is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
