Linda Carol Fisher Dodson, age 69 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Wednesday January 1, 2014. A native of Nashville, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dock M. and Tina Elizabeth Poteete Fisher, and by a sister, Ernestine Fisher Pegram. Ms. Dodson is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Allen and Jonathan Kyle Dodson both of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Dorris Fisher of Nashville, TN, Morris and Larry Fisher both of White House, TN, William Fisher of Hendersonville, TN, and Ronnie Fisher of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Mary Anderson Healey of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Kyle, Harleigh, and Fisher Dodson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Chris Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel and from 12:00 noon until time of service Saturday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Ms. Dodson was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian and retired from State Farm Insurance. She was a 1962 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School.
