Linda Darlene Ferrell, age 74, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. A native of Nashville, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Carrie Sanders Shadowens; her husband Larry Joe Ferrell and brothers Henry Shadowens Jr, and Jerry Shadowns and his wife Drema.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Carl Scarlett will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Williamson and her husband Jon of Smyrna, Teresa Potts of Chapel Hill, Treva Hughes and her husband Alan of Christiana, and Travis Ferrell and his wife Kari of Smyrna; grandchildren, Jessica Harden of La Vergne, Carrie Daw of Smyrna, John T. Williamson of Smyrna, Ashley Franklin of Smyrna, Nicholas Potts and Kimberly Potts of Chapel Hill, Zachary Hughes, Kayla Hughes, and Kelsey Hughes all of Christiana, and Kadence Gordon and Brenna Ferrell of Smyrna; 16 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret Wallace and her husband Dean of Cedar Hill, TN, and Marie Ferrell of Smyrna.

Mrs. Ferrell was a member of Miracle Baptist Church. She was a retired clerk with General Insurance Company.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
