Linda K. "Mickey" Childers passed from this world in to God's hands on February 5, 2016. She was a native of Pulaski, VA and a daughter of the late Paul and Louise Reese. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles F. Childers Jr. as well as one brother, and three sisters.

She is survived by sisters, Janice Dix, Sybil Zipperer, and Judy Whitt; as well as brothers, Paul Reese, Colin Reese, and Larry Reese; her loving fiancé, Harold Quillen; sons, Scott A. Childers and his wife Jacque of Murfreesboro, TN, and Timothy Justin Tomlinson and his wife Beth of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by two daughters, Lori Childers of Jacksonville, FL and Lynn Ledbetter of Nashville, TN. She had ten grandchildren, Michael and Josh Tomlinson, Nick and Zack Ledbetter, Madison, Milbrey, and Mason Childers, and Rylee, Jaelyn, and CJ Tomlinson.

Her request was to be cremated with no formal service. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She also requested that any donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Mickey, Mom, Nana, Ana will be greatly missed by many as we send her off to heaven to be with those that have gone before her.
