Lillie Victory, age 68 of Smyrna died Tuesday August 12, 2014. She was a native of Smyrna and was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Willie Mae West Underwood; brothers, Roy, Franklin, and Ivey Gene Underwood; sisters, Estelle Gourley and Oakley McClanahan. Mrs. Victory had worked at Betterbilt and was retired from Davidson Ladders. She had attended the Church of Christ. Mrs. Victory is survived by her husband of 43 years, Willie Victory; daughter, Christy(Jimmy)Evansof Smyrna; grandchildren, Blake and Delaney Evans; sisters, Roberta Victory of Smyrna, Hazel (Al) Babb of Smyrna, Pauline Thomas of Monteagle, TN.; brother, Bobby (Mammie Pearl)Underwood of Lafayette, TN., and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 1PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Phil Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
