Lillie Mae Light, age 91, of LaVergne passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017. She was a native of Davidson County and the daughter of the late Robert Lee Nelson and Mary Bell Boyer Meadows Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leonard Cecil Light, brothers, Robert Nelson, Chester Nelson, Exter Meadows, daughter, Judith Ann Light, granddaughters, Kimberly Walker, Dana Light-Stribling and great grandson, Steven Walker.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Tim Lavender will officiate. Interment will be 2:00pm Saturday at White House Memorial Gardens, 3639 US 31W, White House, TN 37188.

She is survived by her children, Larry Wayne Light and his wife Janet, Judy Vanetta Walker, Leonard Lee Light and his wife Tracy, grandchildren, Alan Light, Tonya Walker-Dial, Jeffery Walker, LeAnne Light-Geerts, Melissa Light-Lester, Nikki Light-Humbert and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Light was a homemaker and member of the Smyrna Church of Christ.
