LILLIAN EDNA HALL TOOMBS age 84 of Lavergne, TN, died Wednesday July 7, 2010. A native of Lebanon, TN, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Alice McIntyre Hall. Mrs. Toombs is survived by sons, Emmett W. Toombs, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN; Mel Toombs of Lavergne, TN; daughter, Angele Gacht of Lincoln Park, MI; grandchildren, Dwayne and Daniel Toombs, Stephen, Roger, and Matthew Gacht; great-grandchildren, Kate Elizabeth Toombs and Owen Patrick Toombs. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Emmett W. Toombs Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Toombs was married to the late Emmett William Toombs, Sr. who died in 1987. She was a member of Old Jefferson Christ of Christ and retired from Greer Stop Nut.
