BURRIL MORRISON age 71 of Murfreesboro, went to be with his Lord on May 13, 2011. A native of Westlake, LA, he was the son of the late Levi Alexander and Ella Bessie Sturgeon Morrison. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Brother Adam Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife of 37 years Glenda Smith Morrison, daughter Susan Hall of Murfreesboro, sons Scott Frye of Memphis, Kelly Morrison of Sulphur, LA, and his three grandchildren, Loren Hall, Caleb Hall, and Madison Morrison. He was preceded in death by a son Richard Richie Morrison. Mr. Morrison was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church and a very active member in the Nail Benders Mission Group. He retired from the TVA as an Electronics Technician. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
