Lettie Inez Sloan, age 86, of Antioch, died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Alive Hospice. Mrs. Sloan is the daughter of the late John Thomas and Lee Inez Sweeney Burnett. She is also preceded in death by her husband Aubrey D. Sloan; a son Tommy Dean Sloan; and her siblings Lee, Daniel, Charlie and Carlton Burnett, Louise Underwood, Colleen Davenport, and Roxie McClendon. Mrs. Sloan is survived by her son Bill Sloan and his wife Joy of Bell Buckle; daughter Shirley Moser and her husband Marvin of Nashville; grandchildren Willie Sloan, Angie Pyburn and her husband Mark, and Greg Moser and his wife Kris; great-granchildren Aubrey James Sloan, Jaeden, and Julianna Pyburn, Sarah, Zach and Abby Moser; devoted nieces and nephews; and many great friends. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna. Greg Moser will officiate. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery. Ranse Burnett, R.C. McClendon, Willie Sloan, Mark Pyburn, Phillip Burnett, Jim Burnett, and Zac Moser will serve as active pallbearers. Larry and Johnny Burnett will serve as honorary pallbearers.
