LERA SPEIR SMITH, age 76 of Murfreesboro died September 19, 2010 at Adams Place. Mrs. Smith was a native of Savannah Georgia and was the daughter of the late, David S. and Eudell Saturday Speir. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her Husband, Jack O. Smith; son, John D. Smith and wife Kim of Rockvale; Daughters, Joyce Lawrence and husband Michael of Murfreesboro, Joan Medley and husband, Randy of Chattanooga, Jacque Hayden and husband, Rick of Bardwell Kentucky; brother, David Speir of Savannah Georgia; grandchildren, Justin and Sarah Medley, Nathan and Morgan Lawrence, Kimberly Rundles, Tyler Hayden and Lauren Smith; great-grandchildren, Camden Medley, and Hayden Rundles.
