Leonard B. Posey, age 86, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home. Mr. Posey was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late John F. and Nellie Gray Johnson Posey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Polly Vincion Posey; brother, Carl S. (Robbie) Posey; sister, Mildred Posey Pickard; and brother-in-law, Henry L. Miller.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Posey is survived by brothers, Clyde W. Posey and Eldridge D. Posey and sisters, Cornelia Miller and Loretta Hawkins and her husband Ray of all of Murfreesboro; and John Pickard of Lascassas.

Mr. Posey attended Walter Hill and Lascassas Schools and was a retired farmer.
