It is with much sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of L.T. Scharnhorst.  He has moved on from his earthly body to be with his Savior.  L.T. loved the Lord, and loved his family.  He was a strong and faithful husband, and a loving father and grandfather.  Daily, his life displayed his hard work, commitment, generosity, and quiet love to those around him.  He humbly lived his life in service to the Lord.

L.T. was very talented and skilled at many things, but he especially loved growing his garden and taking his grandbabies on his tractor.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; sons, Nolan (Kelly) and Corbin (Mackenzie); daughter, Erin (Bryan); mother, Joyce; brothers, Garth (Deb), John (Denise), and Carl (Emily); grandchildren, Ellie, Oliver, Cooper, and Titus.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ted.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, with funeral services beginning Friday at 11:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. Family and Friends will meet at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM for burial following the Funeral Service.
