LELA RUTH DUNNAWAY, age 80, of Murfreesboro, died July 18, 2010 at home. Mrs. Dunnaway was a native of Rutherford Co., and daughter of the late Marcus and Minnie Kate Ring Lane. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Nickey Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dunnaway is survived by sons, Larry and Steve Dunnaway both of Murfreesboro; sister, Sara Brew of Leanna; grandchildren, Cassie Buie, Melody Dunnaway, Larry Dunnaway, Jr., and Amber Fahey; great grandchildren, Jacob Buie, Blake Fahey, and Braden Fahey. Mrs. Dunnaway was married to the late Sameul Winford Dunnaway and was also preceded in death by brothers, Edgar Lane and James Buddy Lane. Mrs. Dunnaway was a graduate of Walter Hills High School and a member of Bethleham Church of Christ. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
