Lee Evans, age 75, of Shelbyville peacefully died on Thursday evening August 14, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife and close family. Lee was a loving husband, father, and grandpa who will be greatly missed. A native of Crisfield, MD, he is survived by his dedicated wife of 28 years, Joyce Evans. He is also survived by his beloved children Steven Evans, Sherrie Sautter, and Donna (Bob) Hensley all of Baltimore, MD; Rick Jacobs of Shelbyville; Marty (Lisa) Jacobs, Danny (Lynnie) Jacobs, and Diane (Kenny) Robinson all of Murfreesboro; and Krystal Newby of Bell Buckle. Lee is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren that he adored and enjoyed very much. He is preceded in death by his parents Willy and Margaret Evans; a brother Elmer Evans; a sister, Helen Tyler; and two grandchildren. Services to celebrate Lee's life will be held on Thursday August 21, 2014 at Edgemont Baptist Church located at 150 Fairfield Pk. Shelbyville, TN 37160.
