LEE BREWER, age 67, of Murfreesboro died Monday, September 22, 2008 at his home. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Joe & Flora Newman Brewer. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Modean Carroll Brewer; son, Bryan Brewer of Murfreesboro; brother, Jerry Brewer of Olive Branch, Miss. and Loyd Brewer of Nashville; sisters, Ida Brewer, Murfreesboro and Faye Leonard of Loretto, Tn. granddaughter, Morgan Brewer. Funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bill Swindell and Kevin Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by a sister, Gevena Green. He was a member of the Leanna Church of Christ where he served as Deacon and Elder for many years. He was retired from the Alvin C. York Veterans Administration Center. Active Pallbearers will be Wendell Bolin, Richie Bolin, Randy Bolin, Mark Green, Jeff Leonard, Jimmy Carroll, Jerry Barrett, Don Spivey, Buddy Arms, Tim Spivey, Tony Daugherty, Danny Thompson.
