Obituary

Lee W. Bickford, age 74 of Murfreesboro, formerly of Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Niagara Falls, NY and a son of Lee Bickford, Sr. and the late Lucille Jane Buck Bickford. He was also preceded by a daughter, Tee Bickford Clutter.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Miller Bickford; daughters, Candy L. Wooten and husband Kurt and Nikki L. Koralewski and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Lane Wooten and wife Brooke, Amanda Johnson and husband Matt; Ashley Terry and husband Buddy, Bekah Wooten, Mollie Metts and husband Sean, Eli Clutter, Daniel Koralewski, and Amber Koralewski; great grandchildren, Bates and Sawyer Wooten and Ansley Terry; sisters, Nancy Martinez and husband Angel, Trisha Bickford, Kathy Cosgrove and husband Chris; and a brother, Gary Bickford and wife Janie; several nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Mr. Bickford was a member of Cooks United Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet and a United States Air Force veteran. He had worked for Mason-Dixon Freight Lines and AVCO Aeronautics as a quality control inspector. He retired from Wright Industries in 2003. Lee loved his Lord, family, friends, and was an avid classic Chevy enthusiast.

A service celebrating Lee's life will be 5:00 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Craig Goff officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff at Tennessee State Veterans Home for all their wonderful care.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Bickford to the Tennessee State Veterans Home Family Council, the Cooks United Methodist Church building fund, or the charity of one's choice.
