Mr. Leamon Roy Gossett, age 84, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born in Hickman County, TN to the late Claude and Willie Mae Clark Gossett. Mr. Gossett owned Gossett's Auto Parts where he knew everyone who walked in the door and treated them like family. He enjoyed all sports from MTSU especially basketball when he wasn't watching the Atlanta Braves or NASCAR.

Mr. Gossett is survived by his sons, Tim Gossett and his wife Laura and Ron Gossett and his wife Cindy; brother, J.W. Gossett and his wife Christine; grandchildren, Lauren Knox and her husband Tyler and Drew Gossett and his fiancée Katie Stotler; and great-granddaughter, Eleanor Elizabeth Knox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lee Gossett; sister, Opal Gossett Bissinger; and a brother, Robert K. Gossett.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 4, 2019 from 8:00am until 9:30am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 9:30am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
