Mr. Lawrence "Skip" Malone, age 73, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was born in New Britain, CT. Mr. Malone proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years before working in quality control for Square D. He faithfully attended North Boulevard Church of Christ. Mr. Malone was an avid classic car fan and enjoyed wood working.

Mr. Malone is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Malone; daughter, Mary Denise Malone of Nashville, TN; aunt, Tina Thaxton of Newington, CT; cousin, Joyce Walk of Kensington, CT; second mother and family friend, "Mama Ruth" Petrossi of Berlin, CT; brother, Gary Malone of Berlin, CT; sister-in-law, Cathy Sherrill of Nashville; brother-in-law, Jesse Beasley and his wife Linda of Murfreesboro; and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rose Cianci Malone, and son, Larry "Bubba" Malone.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. John Risse will officiate.
