Laura Lambert, age 61 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died January 9, 2025, along with her husband Christopher Lambert as a result of their injuries sustained when their home caught fire. She was born in Harvey, Illinois and was a daughter of the late Joseph Ralph Simmons and Betty Ann Bryant Simmons. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dave Cizunas.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Rianna Lambert; sisters, Janie Simmons and Nancy Simmons (John Labeots); nieces and nephews, Danny Cizunas (Jillian), Joey Labeots (Fallon), Katie Cizunas (Kyle Burt); great nieces and nephews, Kody, Aurek, Caulder and Quinn.

Laura had worked as a legal secretary for Amoco.

Visitation with the Lambert family will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 11:00am until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Watson Memorial Park, Winchester, Tennessee at 4:00pm with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
