Mr. Larry Sneed, age 80, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born in Enterprise, TN to the late John Herman and Sarah Meadows Sneed. Mr. Sneed worked for many years in insurance sales making a number of friends at the Murfreesboro Fire Department. Mr. Sneed proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He also thoroughly enjoyed playing as much golf as he possibly could.

Mr. Sneed is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gladys Sneed; children, Greg Sneed and his wife Susan of Milton, TN, Gary Sneed of Deming, WA, and Donna Sneed of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jeff Sneed and his wife Amanda of Murfreesboro and Jessica Hampton and her husband Thomas of Lebanon, TN; great-grandchildren, Paxton Sneed and Cain, Cobe, and Gabriel Hampton; brothers, Joe Sneed of Nashville, TN, Bobby Sneed and his wife Cris of Murfreesboro, and Billy Sneed of Nashville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Ellen Cole.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 3:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Michael Jeanette will officiate.
