LARRY SANDERS, age 57, of Smyrna, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009. He was the son of the late James Edward and Betsy Jane Fortner Sanders. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Sanders, and sister, Barbara Sanders. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Ron Caldwell will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joan Ann Collins Sanders, daughters, Teresa Blackwell, Emily (Michael) Dagit, Becky (Matthew) Mangrum, all of Smyrna, brothers, James Sanders, Terry Sanders, David Sanders, all of Centerville, grandchildren, Haley Blackwell, Marissa Dagit, Abigail Mangrum, and Braden Mangrum. Mr. Sanders was a member of the Old Jefferson Church of Christ and a Feed Mill Superintendant with Tennessee Farmers Co-op. He was a graduate of MTSU and proudly served his country in the US Army.
