Mr. Larry Rowland, age 74, of Newburgh, IN passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born in Nashville, TN to the late Robert E. and Lillian Brumlow Rowland. Mr. Rowland earned his business degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1964 and later his master's degree in social work from the University of Louisville.

Mr. Rowland is survived by his sister, Sharon Harris (Dennis) of Murfreesboro; niece, Cassie Brandon (Josh Smotherman) of Dowelltown, TN; nephew, Joseph Brandon of Christiana, TN; special friend, Kay Forbes of Newburgh; and five great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Jan van den Heuvel.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Indiana.
