Mr. Larry Mowry, age 89, of Rochester Hills, MI passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. He was born in Warren, MI to the late Guy L. and Marchie Kushmaul Mowry. Mr. Mowry worked as a construction engineer before his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rochester and was proud to be a Gideon. Mr. Mowry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mowry is survived by six children, Daniel E. Mowry and his wife Diane of Auburn, WA, Pamela S. Mowry of Rochester Hills, MI, Barbara A. Mowry and her husband Nick Rosiu of Rockvale, TN, Donald J. Mowry and his wife Ruth of Dansville, MI, Sally J. Anderson and her husband Clyde of Greeley, CO, L. Michael Mowry and his wife Alyssa of Waterford, MI; sister, Margaret Hanson of Lansing, MI; eleven grandchildren, Heather Wolfe, Heidi Nolte, Lesley Robinson, Lauren Anderson, Peter Mowry, Kelly Anderson, Chadd Mowry, Kirsten Mowry, Riley Mowry, Mackenzie Mowry, and Kaeley Mowry; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nolte, Tyler Luopa, Jameson Wolfe, Zachary Wolfe, Trevor Wolfe, A.J. Wolfe, Chloie Goodman, James Robinson, Henry Robinson, Olive Mowry, Levi Mowry, Charlotte Anderson, and Evie Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Beadle Mowry.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Rochester, 6377 Orion Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306.
