LARRY ROSS McGINN age 76 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Tuesday February 8, 2011. A native of Aubrey, AR, he was the son of the late Ross T. and Phyllis Myers McGinn. Mr. McGinn is survived by his wife of 53 years, Regina Jolley McGinn; son Larry Alan McGinn of Orlando, FL; daughter and son in-law, Guen and Rich Campbell of Lascassas, TN; special grandchildren Alanna and McKenna Johnson of Lascassas TN; step-mother, Ruth McGinn of Paragould, AR; brothers, William McGinn of Paragould, AR and Jerry McGinn of Elmore AL; sisters, Sherry Lamb of Harrisburg, AR and Linda Coates of Elaine, AR. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jim Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, with Jerry and William McGinn, Doug Pelren, Wayne Pollock, Butch Campbell, Clyde Hall, Jim Huffine, and Bill Ervin serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Mr. McGinn was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer, outdoorsman and a wildlife biologist. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello, formerly Arkansas A&M and Louisiana State University with a degree in wildlife biology. Mr. McGinn was responsible for the restocking of the deer and wild turkey population in Middle Tennessee. He retired in 1996 as the regional manager with the TWRA.
