Mr. Larry Wayne Holland, Sr., age 67, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN to the late William Hoyett and Georgia Brandon Mankin Holland. Mr. Holland retired as a dock foreman for the United States Postal Service and enjoyed bass fishing. He proudly served his country in the United States Army through the 101st Airborne and was assigned to two tours of duty in VietNam where he was awarded a Purple Heart.

Mr. Holland is survived by his son, Larry Wayne "Butch" Holland, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Murfreesboro; daughter, Dorry Floyd and her husband Jeremy of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, William Fisher Holland, Audrey Floyd, Rowan Floyd, and Sadie Floyd; three brothers, Harry Hoyett Holland and his wife Andrea of Murfreesboro, George Michael Holland and his wife Vicki of Okeechobee, FL, Weck Hodge Mankin and his wife Mary of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Mary Audura Drake of Manchester, TN and Paulette Holland Statum and her husband Dwight of Murfreesboro; and sister-in-law, Martha Mankin of Murfreesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Benton Mankin, and sister, Ora Mankin Carter Carmichael.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Scott Lovejoy will officiate.
