Mr. Larry Prentice Eagan, age 67, of Smyrna, TN passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Ludford and Imogene Glidewell Eagan. Mr. Eagan was raised in Birmingham, AL. He lived in Chattanooga, TN for 13 years before relocating to Nashville, TN in 2000. After working in the transportation industry for 40 years, he retired from Penske Truck Leasing in 2010. Mr. Eagan enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His wife and children were the number one priority in his life.  Mr. Eagan was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Eagan is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Beth Cockrell Eagan; children, Jason Eagan and Amy Eagan Akers both of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, and Isaac; brothers, Randy (Susan) Eagan of Oklahoma and Rusty Eagan of Georgia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held with family on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro.
