Larry Daniel Curtis, age 71 of Smyrna, TN, died Friday July 13, 2012. A native of Hardin County, TN, he was the son of the late Andrew Benton and Stella White Curtis. Mr. Curtis was also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Ann Reed Curtis who died in 2011. Mr. Curtis is survived by two children, a son, Ricky Pitts and his wife Donna, a daughter, Rita Nelson all of Smyrna, TN; three grandchildren, Brittany Nelson, Justin Pitts, and Mick Cohan and several brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Scarlett officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Curtis was a Baptist and a retired truck driver. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at WOODFIN FUNERAL CHAPEL, SMYRNA. 459-3254.
