Larry B. Brewer, age 69, of Smyrna, TN. died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County he was the son of the late Lytle B. Brewer and Azilee Warrick Boner. He is also preceded in death by his sister Wanda Lois Brewer, brother Irvin Brewer and sister, Barbara Cash. Funeral Services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Brother Jon Gary Williams and David Waldron will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Haynes Brewer; two sons and a daughter in law, Michael (Janet) Brewer and Jason Brewer; six grandchildren, Brandon (Katie) Brewer, Cody Brewer, James Brewer all of Smyrna, Jacob Barnes, Ashley Barnes and Noah Barnes, all of Woodbury; two great grandchildren, Landon Brewer and Ayden Brewer both of Smyrna; two brothers, Dick (Mary) Brewer of Murfreesboro and Ronnie Brewer of Bradyville, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Brewer was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and was a retired machinist with Greer Stop Nut. He was a former member of the Gospel Five Quartet and he loved gospel bluegrass music and some of that still lives on in songs hes written. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Parkinsons disease foundation. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at WOODFIN CHAPEL SMYRNA. 459-3254
