LALA HARVEY DALEY, age 65 of Smyrna died Sunday May 17, 2009 at her home. She was a native of LaVergne. She was the daughter of the late, Sterling Excell and Annie Lucille Vaughn Harvey. She was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ and was a retired secretary with IRS, VA Hospitals, and worked in book returns with Ingram Books. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Eugene Daley, Sr.; daughter, Marla Donour of Alabama; son , Eugene Daley, II of Murfreesboro; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, June Lannon of LaVergne, Delona Griffin of Texas; brother, Dale Harvey of Smyrna. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Smyrna Church of Christ, with Bro. Tim Lavender officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
