L.D. Agee, of Murfreesboro, died March 14, 2010. He was a native of Rutherford Co., and son the late Arthur Vaughn and Tennia Crutchfield Agee. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday with David Ash and Ben Cates officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Agee is survived by his wife, Robin Agee; step daughter, Brittanni Haynes, Murfreesboro; Brother, John Agee, Shelbyville; sisters, Lucy Arnold, Murfreesboro and Virginia Irving, Nashville; and good friend, Larry Stewart. Mr. Agee was preceded in death by two brothers Frank Agee and Harry Agee, and a sister, Mary Ruth Sudberry. Mr. Agee was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. He was the owner and operator of Agees Sporting Goods for over 47 years. Pallbearers will be Larry Stewart, Ben Cates, Bob Woodard, Jerry Smithson, Glenn Hollandsworth, Mike Swanson, Marty Agee, Ray Hughes, Ronnie Eakes, and Kenneth Victory, A.C. Sudberry, and Steve Peterson. Memorials in memory of Mr. Agee may be made to MTSU baseball or the charity of your choice.
