Kristofer Robert Dahlin, age 51, of Murfreesboro, died April 7, 2014. He was a native of Chicago, Illinois and son of Robert and Elberta Dahlin. Funeral services will be Thursday at 6:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until service time Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. In addition to his parents, Kris is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine Dahlin; brother, James and wife Robyn Dahlin; nephew, Luke Dahlin; and niece, Jenna Dahlin. Kris received his Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University and his Masters of Music degree from Northwestern University. He was a professional classical musician for 30 years as well as a private trumpet instructor. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, swimming, bicycling, and family gatherings.
