Kittie Davenport Horskins , age 70, of Smyrna, TN, passed away Friday October 14, 2016. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Davenport, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Warrick Davenport. Mrs. Horskins was also preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Davenport, Jr. and John Houston Davenport.

Mrs. Horskins is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard E. Horskins; son, Jim Dwayne Horskins and his wife Donna, of Murfreesboro, TN; Daughters, Ginger Potts and her husband Ricky, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Tammy Pyles and her husband Todd, of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Mary Helmick of Edgewater, FL and Billie Dean Horskins of Murfreesboro, TN; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. David Humphrey and Rev. Eric Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with Ryan and Michael Roberts, Rocky and Ricky Potts, Todd Pyles, and Jimmy Shay serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna.

Mrs. Horskins was retired from Screw Machine Product in Murfreesboro.
