Khan Vannivong, age 87 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on January 24, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Onekeo Vannivong; children, Somboon Supakhan, Saeng Vannivong, Bee Phetsada and husband Pie Phetsada, Noy Noum, Ben Vannivong and husband Ob, Bak Supakhan  and wife Jessica, Mai Piyawong and husband Somjit, and Ko Vannivong; and grandchildren, Benjamin, Lianna, Jasmine, Justin, Navin, Keven, Kaitlin, Ethan, Cooper, Bew, Boss, and Navi.

Khan was a farmer and loved to tend a large garden and grow different vegetables all throughout his life. He spent the majority of his time at the Watamphawan Thai Temple in Murfreesboro, TN as well as spending time with his family. He had a special love for his grandchildren and lit up when he was around them.

Khan was a constant in the close-knit Thai/Lao community. He always showed up to send his blessings at weddings, baby showers, and all events. He was kind and gentle. He lived an incredible life, and made many sacrifices to provide his children a better life. He will be greatly missed by many.
