Kevin Williams, age 52 of the Almaville Community, died Monday at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Rutherford County and was a son of Ruth Rich Shroat, and his father the late Gene Clayton Williams, and his step-father, the late late Thomas Shroat.

Survivors include his wife Wanda Williams; his mother, Ruth Rich Shroat of Murfreesboro; son, Michael Dority and wife Jenna of Christiana;  daughter, Dustie Williams and fiancé Tim Mullins of Murfreesboro; sisters, Diane Barrett of Shelbyville and Gail Warnick of Murfreesboro; a brother, Larry Gene Williams of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Miah and Austin Dority, and Levi Wayne Traughber; father in law, Irvin "Bubba" Leaver, a brother in law, Ted Leaver, both of Smithville; and a host of loving family and friends.

Mr. Williams was a member of the Baptist faith and worked for Schneider Electric.

Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Thursday until the time of memorial services beginning at 5:00 PM, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Jesse Smith will officiate. If you have a Team Kevin shirt, please ware it to the service at the family's request.
