Kenneth Wayne Jones, Sr., age 65 of Smyrna passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014. He was a native of Nashville, TN and the son of the late Buster Jones and Mary Elizabeth Tawater. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Trevor Allen Jones. Graveside service 1:00pm Monday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Wayne Jones, Jr, and his wife Maryjayne, daughter, Jennifer LeeAnn Jones both of Smyrna, brothers, Michael Edwin Jones of Chapel Hill, Thomas Allen Jones of Smyrna, grandchildren, Kelsie Elizabeth Jones Brown, Damien Wayne Jones, Benjamin Kenneth Allen Jones and Kathy Briegh Ann Jones Brown. Mr. Jones served his country in the US Marine Corps and was an Auto Salesman with the Trading Post Auto Sales in Smyrna for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jones Family, into Kathy Jones, Ross Dr., account at Ascend Federal Credit Union, 769 Nissan Drive, Smyrna, TN 37167 for the grandchildren of Mr. Jones.
