Kenneth M. Hughes, age 73, of Murfreesboro, TN died July 2, 2016. Mr. Hughes was a native of Spring Hill, TN and was the son of the late Leo and Mildred Holland Hughes. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Lovell, a granddaughter, Rachael Ward and a sister, Lillian Bennett.

Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife Paula Beasley Hughes; daughters, Ramona Ward and her husband David of Columbia, Kaye Jenkins and her husband John of Columbia, and Whitney Bilyeu and her husband Chris of Crossplains; brother, Paul (Linda) Hughes of Columbia; sister, Carolyn Wylie of Columbia; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hughes was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He was a retired nursing assistant at the VA Hospital in Nashville.

A memorial service with military honors will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016 at North Boulevard Church of Christ with Tony Holt, Joey Sidley, and Joe Mayes officiating.
