Kenneth Hamilton, Sr., age 69 of Murfreesboro died Friday May 13, 2016. He was a native of Chicago, IL and was the son of the late, John and Cathryn 'Betty" Raleigh Hamilton, and was preceded in death by brother, David Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was retired from a long career at Safeguard Business Systems. After his retirement Mr. Hamilton enjoyed worked at SportsCom in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Hamilton; son, Ken Hamilton, Jr., and wife Erin of Murfreesboro; daughter, Tracy Bailey and husband Kevin of Texas; grandchildren, Sydney, Brooke, Jackson, Andrew and Addison; brother, Richard Hamilton and sister, Cathryn Hamilton both of Illinois. Missed by his canine best friends, Penny and Shelly.

Funeral service with Military Honors will be 7:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be after 2:00PM until 7:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday May 19th at St. Pius X Parish 4300 South Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402 . A luncheon will follow.
