Kenneth Gene Rainey was known as "Doc" from his career as a respiratory therapist passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the age of 64. He was a native of St. Charles, MO and the son of the late Kenneth Gene Rainey, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Philip Rainey.

Graveside service will be 11:00am Friday, July 28, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery. Barry Culbertson will officiate.

He is survived by his mother Alice Jane Rainey, brother Charles (Chuck) E. Rainey, aunt Ruth Kitchen, cousins Dennis (Christina) Kitchen, Debbie (Todd) Zappala, Curt (Nancy) Malcore, Susan (Jeff) Lamb and niece Talura Danielle Rainey.

Mr. Rainey served active duty in the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer before becoming a respiratory therapist.
