Kenneth Ellis, age 94, of Nashville, TN passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012. A native of Tellico Plains, he was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyte W. and Susie Davis Ellis, and his wife, Rebecca Jernigan Ellis. Funeral service will be 3:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Dr. Lemuel Wade and Dr. Carl Hoffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Ellis is survived by his daughters, Jo Ann Boyd of Murfreesboro and Sharon (Gary) Follis of Hermitage; three grandchildren, Kim (Lyman) Cox of Fayetteville, Chad (Darby) Follis of Franklin and Cory (Diane) Follis of Marietta, GA; and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Ellis was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna. 615-893-5151.
