Katy Byanco Rogers, age 93, died December 22, 2014. Mrs. Rogers was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Lee A. and Anna Hawks Fulks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett L. Rogers who died in 1993, a daughter Patsy Alexander, four brothers, Vernie, Wiley J., Fornie, and John Fulks, and five sisters, Pearl Parker, Evie Sue Jernigan, Pauline Hayes, Beatrice Haynes and Okiko Fulks. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Roy Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Fox Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Rogers is survived by two sons, Fred Rogers and his wife Mary Jo of Murfreesboro and Tommy Rogers and his wife Cathie of Athens, AL; a son in law Jimmy Alexander of Readyville and nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter.
