KATHY ANNE REYNOLDS IRVIN age 60 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday October 28, 2012. A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Katherine Harmon Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her sister, Cherry Reynolds Russell. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, with her nephew Jeff Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Lawn Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Irvin is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary Irvin, Daughter Melanie (Jamie) McCormick of Murfreesboro, four Grandchildren, Katherine Haynes, Justin Haynes, Houston McCormick, Kirsten McCormick all of Murfreesboro, three Brothers Terry (Joyce) Reynolds of Lebanon, David (Louise) Reynolds of Murfreesboro, Gene (Sharon) Reynolds of S.C., her best friend of 35 years, Terrie Smith of Franklin, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Irvin was retired from Avaya as an Administrative Clerk, and was a proud 1970 graduate of Lebanon High School, once a Blue Devil always a Blue Devil. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, which was very dear to Kathy.
