KATHY BARNEY, age 52 of Murfreesboro passed away on at home Thursday October 28, 2010. Kathy was born in Dundee, IL and later relocated to Murfreesboro. Kathy loved the outdoors, horses & spending time with family and friends. She was also a member of World Outreach Church and Joyce Meyers Ministries. Kathy was preceeded in death by her parents George & Conny Miller Ashman. She is survived by her husband Tom Barney; brothers Richard (Pam) Ashman of Michigan, James (Alison) Ashman of Connecticut, best friend Kim Haas of Michigan. Kathy is also survived by nieces Stephanie (Joel) Lewis, Ellie and Katie Ashman and nephew Campbell Ashman plus numerous Aunts & Uncles. A memorial service will be at 6:00 PM on Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bob Bush officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4:00-6:00pm. A private interment will be held at a later date at Mapleview Cemetery.
