KATHRYN LEE BABCOCK GRIEWAHN, age 59, of Smyrna, Tn. died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at StoneCrest Medical Center. She was born in Binghamton, New York and was the daughter of the late George Philip & Avie Viola Styron Babcock. She is survived by her husband, Pepper Griewahn; daughters, Donna Detwiler and her husband Richard of Murfreesboro, Julie Perkins and her husband Vance of Murfreesboro, Jennifer Huddleston and her husband Andrew of London, U K; son Martin Griewahn and his wife, Beth of Murfreesboro; brother Philip Babcock of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Jean Dixon of Murfreesboro and five grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be at the home of the daughter, Donna Detwiler, 1432 Colyn Avenue, Murfreesboro, Tn. 37128 from 6-8 pm Thursday. Memorial services will be at 10:30 am Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Father Ray Kasch officiating. Mrs. Griewahn was a member of the Anglican Church and a retired Registered Nurse.
