Katherine "Kitty" Rogers, age 87 of Readyville died Monday March 21, 2022. She was a native of Rutherford Co. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Rogers, parents, Owen Averitt Smith and Mary Sue Compton Smith; brother, J.B. Smith; sister, Barbara Vaughn.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was retired from Rutherford County Farm Bureau Tax Service. She also helped her husband Fred Rogers with the USDA for 48 years prior to his retirement.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her children, Renee (Daniel Davenport) Rogers, Thomas (Jan) Rogers, Ronald (Raquel) Rogers; grandchildren, Jennie and Alvin Brandon, Katie and Brian Ferguson, Whitney and Zak Redden, Matthew and Ashley Rogers, Jonathon and Amber Rogers; great-grandchildren, A B, Kenneth, Quentin, Addelyn, Lennon, Brylee, Caroline, Claire, Cole; Brother; Bill and wife Marsha Smith; Sisters-in-law, Sandra Smith and Carolyn Wilson; Caretaker, Crystal Melton.
