KARLA KAE BOYCE, age 49, of Smyrna, died October 27, 2010 at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a native of Laramie, Wyoming. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Smyrna with Father Richard Gagnon officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. Mrs. Boyce is survived by her husband, Tim Boyce; her parents, James and Loisanne McNabb Striteof Winchester, TN; son, Bradley Matthew Boyce of Murfreesboro; daughter, Holly Kara Boyce of Murfreesboro; sisters, Pamela Ann Hutchison of Murfreesboro, and Sonya Sue Meacham of Smyrna; and a brother, James Edward Strite, Jr. of Tullahoma. Mrs. Boyce was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Smyrna. She was a retired teacher having been a speech therapist for Rutherford Co. Schools.
