Karen Marie Jones, age 56 of Smyrna died Monday at her home. She was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by her husband James C. Jones, Jr. and her father, Kenneth Eugene Jones. Mrs. Jones attended The Well Church and was a retired Nurse with Nashville General Hospital at Meharry. She is survived by her children; Heather Owens and husband William III of Smyrna, Michelle Short of Smyrna, Leanne Van Houten and husband Thomas of Smyrna, Jamie Harris of Smyrna; grandchildren, Lane, Tyler, Kayla, Kelsee, Zachary, James and Katelynn; mother, Alma Marie Jones of Nashville; sisters, Terry Cunningham and husband Neil of Mt. Juliet, Vickie Falk and husband Steve of Smyrna; brother, Michael Jones and wife Lorraine of Kentucky; brother-in-law, Shawn Jones and wife Tracy of Old Hickory; sister-n-law, Dawn Crosser of Nashville.
