J.W. Cran, age 95, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Memphis, TN passed away March 14, 2012. A native of Waynesboro, MS he was the son of the late John W. Cran Sr. and Florence Rudolph Cran. He is also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. A private service will be held at a later date. Mr. Cran is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Margaret Poole Cran; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret (Lynn) Agee; three grandchildren, Kelly (Lauren) Agee, Ethan Agee and Kate (Devan) Todd; two great-grandchildren, Ella Agee and Meta Todd; a sister, Mrs. Donald Clark and a brother and sister-in-law, Julian (Jane) Cran. Mr. Cran served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a retired South East Regional Parts and Service Manager with American Motors/Chrysler.
