JUDY MARIE McELROY READ age 60 of Rockvale, died Sunday September 6, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of Lascassas and was the daughter of the late Keele and Thelma Herrod McElroy. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Wayne Lankford will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Read is survived by her husband Pettus L. Read, son and daughter-in-law Shane L. and Jessica Read of Murfreesboro, daughter Nina M. Read of Murfreesboro, two sisters Sandra (Terry) Parks of Murfreesboro, and Patsy (Frankie) Morris of Lascassas, one granddaughter Allie Marie Read. Mrs. Read was a member of East Main Street Church of Christ. She was a 1967 graduate of Lascassas High School and attended M.T.S.U. She was a member of the Rockvale FCE Club.
