Judy Carolyn Overall, age 70, of Murfreesboro, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Nichols Overall Sr., and a dearly loved brother-in-law, James "Buck" Arms. Miss Overall is survived by her brother, Joe Overall Jr. and sister, Martha Arms both of Murfreesboro. She was a Christian and life-long member of First Baptist Church. Miss Overall was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and was a beautician, having owned Judy's Dream Shop, before her retirement. Miss Overall's main mission in life was her volunteer service to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, for more than 30 years, where she gave more than 18,000 hours. She received many honors with her most prestigious award being the 2013 State Tennessee Volunteer of the Year. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. Noel Schoonmaker, Dr. Jimmy Arms and Gordon Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. John Dixon, Bill Allen, Bert Aris, Don Beecham, Ray Tomberlain, Matthew Woodruff and Kevin Taylor will serve as active pallbearers. The Volunteers of St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Volunteer Services of St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in memory of Miss Overall.
